Out of Obscurity, Into Oblivion is a feature documentary about the 55-year legacy of Kent, Ohio’s 15-60-75 (The Numbers Band), an influential Midwest rock band whose story is closely tied to Kent State in 1970 and connected to artists including DEVO, The Waitresses, and Chrissie Hynde. Through exclusive interviews, rare archival material, and previously unreleased footage of the band and from the May 4 shootings, the film explores music, memory, history and artistic endurance outside the mainstream.
